Small Brain in the Ass

I've just visited my friend's blog, and read her latest posts about shopping and the needs to have "me-time", time to be alone and relax without having any disturbance (including jobs).

Well, "me-time" is just something that we all--normal people--need. Right? I think, there was nothing wrong about the posts. I knew that recently, my friend was enjoying (window)shopping alot. That was part of her job as a writer. She needs to be updated about the trend of fashion and lifestyle. But I guess, not all people who visited her blog knew about the fact. And this stupid-man-with-a-very-small-brain-in-the-ass, definitely one of them who didn't know.

Sorry if I'm rude. That was my best "compliment" for the man who put unproper comments on my friend's blog. Very annoying comments.

When my friend wrote about the needs of having "me-time" for her self, this man judged her materialistic, shopaholic, lazy, and not really pretty. No wonder, he said, she is still single until now. Yeah, real stupid-man-with-a-small-brain-in-the-ass does exist, I guess. He mentioned his name "dodol". Seriously a "dodol" person. Kampungan dan norak.

I wrote this because I know my friend very well. First, she's independent. Shopaholic wasn't really a problem since she has a good job which gives her enough to have such lifestyle. Lagian, mosok iya, pengin ngerasain me-time aja langsung dicap malas! One more thing, she's pretty. Being single is her choice, until she find the right person for her.

Actually, I don't have to write this much. All I want to say, especially to that small-brain-in-the-ass, is: don't judge people by their blog. Don't say anything that might hurt someone, especially whom you didn't know well. Try to put respects on others, please. Even the net has netiquette. Intinya, jangan norak dong.

Yah, blog memang harusnya jadi media dua arah. Makanya blogger pun mesti hati-hati dengan tulisannya, karena siapa saja bisa memberi komentar. Tapi kalau tulisannya nggak bertendensi menjelekkan orang lain, apa pantas dikomentari yang nggak-nggak?

PS: Sudah lama banget nggak nulis dalam bahasa Inggris. Ada grammar yang salah, nggak? Jadi ingat, dulu kawan saya Warouw yang suka ngoreksi kesalahan bahasa Inggris saya. Hiks, sekarang dia sibuk selalu...
